Tatiana de Macedo Nogueira Lima

Tatiana Lima is deputy chief economist at Brazil’s Department of Economic Studies (DEE) of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), where she has served since 2019. Previously, she coordinated studies on anticompetitive conduct within the same department.

She worked at the National Regulatory Agency for Private Health Insurance and Plans (ANS) from 2011 to 2019, holding advisory and coordination roles, and was responsible for designing and implementing the new solvency framework for the sector. From 2006 to 2011, she was part of the team at the Secretariat for Economic Law (SDE), participating in cartel investigations—such as those in the medical gases and cement industries—as well as unilateral conduct cases in sectors such as telecommunications, cement, and concrete.

She holds a Ph.D. in economic theory from the University of São Paulo.
