Sabrina Pekarovic
Innovation Fellow
Sabrina Pekarovic is an innovation fellow at the International Center for Law & Economics (ICLE). Her research focuses on intellectual property, digital markets, artificial intelligence, and regulatory policy, including standard-essential patents and fair, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory (FRAND) licensing.
Pekarovic joined ICLE as an intern in 2024 and subsequently served as a research assistant before becoming a fellow in 2025. Her work includes legal and economic research, contributions to policy reports and commentaries, and organizing and moderating events.
Pekarovic previously worked as an intellectual-property intern at Magellan IP in Brazil, where she researched trademark law, intellectual-property regulation, and sustainability. She also served as a summer associate at Tesser Grossman LLP in Los Angeles, assisting with legal research, discovery, and case preparation.
Pekarovic earned her LL.B. in comparative law from IE University’s IE Law School, graduating on the Honor Roll and earning recognition on the Dean’s List. She was an IE Foundation Fellow and received the Uría Menéndez Lawyering & Humanities Scholarship. She also completed an exchange semester at Fundação Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro.
She is pursuing a bilingual dual master’s in legal practice and corporate legal advisory at IE Law School.
