AI-Enabled Policymaking Project
Lauren Wagner is co-founder and director of the AI-Enabled Policymaking Project, an R&D and product lab focused on integrating artificial intelligence into policymaking. She also serves as head of policy and growth at the ARC Prize Foundation and is a fellow at the Abundance Institute. Her primary areas of expertise include artificial intelligence policy, digital governance, product strategy, and data-driven decision-making.
She also is an angel investor and scout for Andreessen Horowitz and a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. In addition, she founded Radium, a studio focused on accelerating trustworthy AI adoption. Previously, she was an investor at Link Ventures, where she focused on early-stage AI startups.
Before that, she worked at Meta, where she led product strategy for transparency tools and information-integrity initiatives across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, including large-scale research collaborations on social media and democracy. Earlier, she was product marketing lead for Google Assistant, where she helped grow a global developer ecosystem for AI applications.
She also held roles in product marketing and strategy at Truveris and Telefónica and began her career as a research scientist at the National Institutes of Health.
She earned a master’s in the social science of the internet from the University of Oxford and a master’s in health administration from Cornell University. She also earned a bachelor’s from Cornell University.
