Kristian Stout on Global Spectrum Negotiations
ICLE Director of Innovation Policy Kristian Stout participated in a June 30 webinar co-hosted by ICLE and New America’s Wireless Future Program on the global spectrum negotiations that will shape U.S. satellite leadership ahead of WRC-27 in Shanghai. Stout was joined by Arpan Sura, senior counsel to Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr, and Michael Calabrese, director of New America’s Wireless Future Program, for a discussion that also marked the release of a new New America-ICLE paper recommending U.S. positions on key satellite issues affecting American innovation, economic competitiveness, and global connectivity.
