Yunsieg P. Kim

Yunsieg P. Kim is an associate professor of law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and an academic affiliate of the International Center for Law & Economics.

His research examines the law & economics of technological innovation and regulation, with a particular focus on antitrust and competition law, as well as civil procedure and the role of information asymmetries in corporate misconduct.

Before joining Hofstra, Kim served as a visiting assistant professor of law at the University of Missouri School of Law. He previously clerked for Judge Mark J. Bennett of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and worked as a litigation associate at King & Spalding LLP in Washington, D.C.

Kim earned a J.D. from Yale Law School and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Michigan. He also holds a master’s in cyber security from New York University, a master’s in economics from the University of Missouri, and a bachelor’s from Dartmouth College.
