Archita Aggarwal
Archita Aggarwal is an antitrust and competition policy research intern at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Her research focuses on antitrust and competition policy in the tech and health-care sectors.
She previously served as a Koch Internship Program (KIP) fellow with Stand Together Fellowships.
Aggarwal worked as a community assistant at Washington and Lee University, where she supported student development, mentored students, and organized programs focused on diversity and personal-growth initiatives. As an undergraduate research assistant at Washington and Lee, her work spanned pandemic-era economics, corporate social responsibility, and media framing analysis. She conducted data collection and analysis, including building datasets from corporate disclosures, using statistical software, and performing text-based media analysis.
Earlier, Aggarwal worked as an editorial intern with the GroundTruth Project, where she contributed to newsletters, wrote articles, and supported copyediting and content development focused on underrepresented communities. She was also a news anchor with Washington and Lee’s Rockbridge Report, where she co-anchored a live weekly newscast and collaborated in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
She earned a bachelor’s in economics from Washington and Lee University.
