Sam Bowman on the prospects for antitrust ‘reform’

Sam Bowman, the director of competition policy at the center-right International Center for Law and Economics, said he suspects Lee’s subtle shift on reform is strategic.

“I think he is trying very hard to figure out ways to get sensible antitrust reform before he is outflanked by people who want to use antitrust for non-antitrust goals,” Bowman said. “The concern from conservative senators about censorship—that’s not an antitrust issue.”
