Shivanghi Sukumar

Shivanghi Sukumar is a self-employed technology and regulatory lawyer.

Her work focuses on antitrust and competition policy, particularly complex behavioral cases at the intersection of innovation and competition. She advises clients on cartels, vertical restraints, and abuse of dominant position, including investigations, litigation, and strategic counseling in regulated markets.

Sukumar previously served as a partner and earlier as counsel at Axiom5 Law Chambers LLP. Before that, she practiced with the competition teams of leading law firms in India, where she worked on enforcement matters during the early development of the country’s modern competition regime.

Her distinctions include recognition as a Microsoft intellectual-property scholar and editorial service with the Indian Journal of Intellectual Property Law.

She earned an LL.M. from Stanford Law School and a bachelor’s from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research in Hyderabad.
