Kay Jebelli


Kayvan Hazemi-Jebelli is principal at Evalusion, a consultancy firm focused on digital-competition policy. He is also the creator, producer, and co-host of the podcast Monopoly Attack.

He previously served as competition and regulatory counsel to the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA), managing CCIA’s European litigation and representing the association on competition-policy issues, and European regulatory-policy matters. In addition, Kay has over a decade’s experience working as a competition lawyer in private practice, in the European Commission Directorate-General for Competition, in academia, and as senior legal counsel at a leading UK media and communications company. Before that, he worked as a computer engineer.

Kay received his B.Sc. in computer science and engineering from the University of California-Los Angeles; his J.D. from the University of the Pacific; and his LL.M. in competition law from King’s College London.
