Evan Starr

Evan Starr is an assistant professor of management and organization at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. His current research examines issues at the intersection of human capital accumulation, employee mobility, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

He was previously an assistant professor in the School of Labor and Employment Relations and the Department of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a graduate student instructor at the University of Michigan, and an instructor at the National University of Singapore School of Business.

He received his a bachelors from Denison University and his PhD in economics from the University of Michigan.
