Don Rosenberg
Donald J. Rosenberg is former executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary of Qualcomm Inc., from which he retired in 2021 after 14 years with the company. At Qualcomm, he was a member of the company’s Executive Committee, and served as chief legal officer responsible for worldwide legal affairs, including litigation, intellectual property, and corporate matters.
Prior to joining Qualcomm, Don was senior vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary of Apple Inc. He previously was senior vice president and general counsel of IBM Corp.
He is a member of the International Advisory Board, University of California San Diego (UCSD) School of Global Policy and Strategy’s advisory board and, from 2022 to 2023, was a Fellow in Residence at the school’s Center on Global Transformation. He is also a member of the China Leadership Board for the 21st Century China Center at the UCSD. He has served as an adjunct professor of law at New York’s Pace University School of Law, where he taught courses in intellectual property and antitrust law.
Don received his bachelor’s in mathematics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his JD from St. John’s University School of Law.
