Carrie Wade

Carrie Wade is senior manager of global scientific engagement with Philip Morris International and was previously principal scientist for external affairs with Juul Labs.

Earlier in her career, Carrie was director of harm reduction policy with the R Street Institute, where her research was primarily interested in how public health initiatives can prevent the incidence of addiction and reduce the negative societal and personal consequences that result from substance use.

She has a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Minnesota, a master’s in public health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a B.S. in neuroscience from the University of Minnesota. She is a board-certified by the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs as a medical affairs specialist.
