Aditya Sushant Jain

Aditya Sushant Jain is an incoming associate in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practice at the Indian law firm Trilegal. His research and professional interests focus on technology law, fintech, data privacy, competition law, and law & economics.

Jain currently serves as an elected member of the invite-only Emerging Scholars Group at the Insolvency Law Academy. He is also a teaching assistant at Jindal Global Law School, where he works on courses related to data privacy and the EU data-protection framework in Asia.

Previously, Jain worked as a research assistant at The Dialogue on projects involving competition law and social justice. Earlier in his career, Jain co-founded IAMcarbon+ve at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, a climate-tech startup focused on carbon-mapping algorithms and sustainability solutions.

Jain has completed internships with Wadia Ghandy & Co., Fox & Mandal, the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, the chambers of Senior Advocate S. Nandakumar at the Supreme Court of India, Advocate Anusha Santosh at the Madras High Court, and TechPose India.

Among his distinctions, Jain was selected for the Gurukul Fellowship by the Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He also received the Savitri Jindal Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, the PPPM Award, the Global Fintech Award, the LSLC Sir Nigel’s Award, and the WG Award.

Jain is pursuing a bachelor’s in law and liberal arts from Jindal Global Law School.
