Robert Crandall

Robert W. Crandall is an adjunct senior fellow at the Technology Policy Institute. His current research focuses on antitrust and regulatory issues in the telecommunications sector. He is also a nonresident senior fellow in the economic studies program at the Brookings Institution.

Robert was acting director, deputy director, and assistant director of the Council on Wage and Price Stability. He has also served as a consultant to the U.S. Justice Department Antitrust Division, the Federal Trade Commission, and the U.S. Treasury Department.

He has taught economics at Northwestern University, MIT, the University of Maryland, George Washington University, and the Stanford in Washington program. He holds an M.S. and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
