Ronald Cass

Ronald A. Cass is president of Cass & Associates, dean emeritus of Boston University School of Law, and former vice chairman of the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC).

Cass was dean of Boston University Law from 1990 to 2004, having first joined the faculty in 1981. He was previously a law professor at the University of Virginia School of Law. He served as commissioner and vice chair of the ITC from 1988 to 1990.

In addition, he has served as a U.S. representative to the World Bank Panel of Conciliators since 2009, an advisor to the American Law Institute, chairman of the Federalist Society Practice Group on Administrative Law, past chair of the American Bar Association Administrative Law Section, and president of the American Law Deans Association.

Cass received his bachelor’s with high distinction from the University of Virginia and his JD with honors from the University of Chicago Law School.
