Eric Fruits
Senior Scholar
Eric Fruits is a senior scholar at the International Center for Law & Economics (ICLE), an adjunct professor of economics at Portland State University, and the president and chief economist of Economics International Corp. Previously, he was the vice president of research with the Cascade Policy Institute and principal consultant with Nathan Associates.
He has also held academic appointments at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, the Kelley School of Business, and the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Earlier in his career, he was a senior economist with ECONorthwest and LECG.
Eric received his bachelor’s from Indiana University and his PhD from Claremont Graduate University.
