Adam C. Smith

Adam C. Smith is an associate professor of economics at Johnson & Wales University. He has published peer-reviewed articles in Constitutional Political Economy, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, European Journal of Political Economy, Social Choice & Welfare, and Public Choice, as well as popular pieces in Forbes, US News & World Report, Charlotte Business Journal, and Regulation magazine. He is also a visiting scholar with the Regulatory Studies Center at George Washington University, and co-author with Bruce Yandle of Bootleggers and Baptists: How Economic Forces and Moral Persuasion Interact to Shape Regulatory Politics (Cato Press, 2014).
