Adam Bartha

Adam Bartha is director of the European Policy Information Center (EPICENTER), a network of free-market think tanks across Europe.

His work focuses on the rule of law, free-market reforms in the European Union, authoritarian populism, and the political affairs of Central and Eastern Europe. He leads the network’s joint work across its member institutes and oversees its European and international programs, including the Initiative for African Trade and Prosperity and the Whetstone Freedom Fund.

Before becoming director, Bartha served as European outreach manager and events and outreach officer at EPICENTER. He was also director of international outreach at the Institute of Economic Affairs in London. Earlier, he was a coordinator with Students For Liberty and a Koch Summer Fellow in the publications department of the Independent Institute. He also interned with the Hungarian Parliament’s Bureau for Foreign Affairs.

Bartha earned a master’s in political theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a bachelor’s in politics and international relations from the University of Sheffield.
