Scholars Warn of Economic Distortions in EU Space Act, Featured in Space Economy Institute
The Space Economy Institute highlighted comments from ICLE Director of Innovation Policy Kristian Stout and Senior Scholar, Innovation Policy Eric Fruits regarding the proposed EU Space Act in its coverage of U.S. State Department criticism of the European regulation.
Translated: Washington’s is not, however, the only expression of concern about the proposed European regulation: the International Center for Law and Economics fears the risk of “economic distortions and structural barriers that could hinder, rather than promote, the objectives of competitiveness and predictable regulation.”
