Kristian Stout, innovation policy director for the International Center for Law & Economics, cautioned against “reading too much into the AWS-3 re-auction” results if revenue falls below expectations. If the FCC doesn’t raise as much this time as Dish Network bid in the initial auction, it probably has limited implications for the value of spectrum, Stout told us.
