The U.S. could see some nations line up behind its push to do away with the ITU’s equivalent power flux density (EPFD) limits on non-geostationary (NGSO) satellite operations, panelists said Tuesday at a New America/International Center for Law & Economics webinar. New America and ICLE last week issued a set of 2027 World Radiocommunication Conference recommendations, with a big focus on getting the ITU to adopt new, less-stringent EPFD limits (see 2606260004).
