Geoffrey Manne to testify before Senate Antitrust Subcommittee on EU and US approaches to competition law

RESCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 19.

On Wednesday, December 5, ICLE president and founder Geoffrey Manne will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy, and Consumer Rights at a hearing entitled, “A Comparative Look at Competition Law Approaches to Monopoly and Abuse of Dominance in the US and EU.

Also testifying are: William E. Kovacic, Global Competition Professor Of Law and Policy at George Washington University Law School; Professor Abbott (Tad) B. Manne’s testimony will draw on his deep expertise in antitrust law and ICLE’s recent comparative analyses of US and EU competition policy.  ICLE’s annual international competition law conference, co-hosted with the University of Leeds Law School, was developed specifically to scrutinize these issues in detail with panels of international scholars, regulators, and practitioners.
