Joshua Benson

Law & Economics Program Manager

Joshua Benson serves as law & economics program manager at the International Center for Law & Economics.

Before joining ICLE, he worked as a media analyst and account manager at a media-analytics firm in the Washington, D.C., area. In that role, he led cross-functional teams delivering recurring media-analysis reports and supported senior reporting and quality-control functions.

Earlier, Benson served as an adjunct professor at Maryville University of Saint Louis, where he taught introductory and advanced composition and managed hybrid-learning classrooms.

Benson has received several academic honors. His scholarship earned the Patrick Scott Writing Award from the Victorians Institute. He also received teaching awards from The George Washington University’s Writing in the Disciplines program and the Department of English.

He earned a Ph.D. in English from The George Washington University, a master’s in English from Portland State University, and a bachelor’s from Emerson College.
