Fausto Gernone

Fausto Gernone is a PhD candidate at University College London’s Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, where his research focuses on non-horizontal competition in digital ecosystems and the role industry standards, APIs and open access initiatives.

He was previously a visiting researcher at the University of California, Berkeley; a consultant and senior analyst at Compass Lexecon; a research assistant at the Centre for Economic Performance; and a senior associate in Deloitte’s Financial Corporate Advisory program.

He received a bachelors in econometrics from the University of Nottingham and a masters from the London School of Economics.
