Dennis D. Crouch

Dennis Crouch is the Judge C.A. Leedy Professor of Law and director of the Center for Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship at the University of Missouri School of Law, and the creator of the popular patent-law blog, Patently-O.

Prior to joining the Mizzou Law Faculty, Crouch was a patent attorney in Chicago and taught at Boston University Law School. Prior to attending law school, Crouch worked as a research fellow at NASA’s Glenn Research Center, a software developer at the Mayo Clinic’s department of biomedical imaging, and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana.

He received a BSE in mechanical engineering cum laude from Princeton University, where he also earned a certificate in engineering management systems. He then earned his JD cum laude from the University of Chicago Law School.
